TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Lux Cruises Group, operating Amiral Cruises for Presidents, Emperor Cruises, and Heritage Cruises, kindly requests you to review these terms and conditions carefully. By booking online or signing a booking form via phone or email, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms on behalf of all individuals in your party.

By accessing our website or services, you agree to these terms and conditions. These terms are subject to change without notice, and it is your responsibility to review them regularly. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

I. RATE

Cruise prices are net and quoted in USD or VND. Pricing is typically per cabin, not per person, except during promotional offers or for day cruises.

II. DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION

Deposit Payment

A 30% deposit is required upon booking confirmation, payable via bank transfer or secure online payment link.
For reservations made within 60 days (GIT bookings) or 45 days (FIT bookings) of the departure date, full payment is required immediately upon confirmation.
Failure to make final payments on time may result in reservation cancellation and cancellation fees.

Cancellation Charges

Cancellation fees depend on the booking type (FIT, GIT, or charter) and timing relative to the departure date:

III. CRUISE CANCELLATION DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS

Our cruises are subject to regulation by the Port Authorities. In adverse weather conditions, the authorities may restrict or cancel cruises.

Decision Timing

Final decisions regarding cruise permits are typically issued at 11:00 AM on the day of departure.
Lux Cruises Group will inform guests as early as possible about risks of cancellation, potential scenarios, and available alternatives.

Possible Scenarios

Permit for overnight cruising granted: The cruise proceeds as planned.
Day cruising only allowed: Guests may opt for lunch and a day cruise, charged at $180 USD per person.
All cruising prohibited: Guests may cancel without refund or reschedule based on availability.

Refund Policy for Multi-Day Cruises

•2-Day/1-Night Refund Adjustment: If only one night is possible, the cruise is charged as a 2-day/1-night package.

•Guests Departing Early: No refund is provided for guests choosing to leave early without waiting for the Port Authority’s decision.

Departure Day Early Return

No refund is issued if cruises are ordered to return to the marina earlier than planned due to weather conditions.

IV. TRANSPORTATION

Guests arranging their own transportation must coordinate directly with their travel agent or provider.
Guests using Lux Cruises Group’s transport will be provided return transport to Hanoi.
Transport costs are non-refundable in cases of cruise cancellation due to weather.

V. REFUND OF UNUSED SERVICES

No refunds or exchanges are offered for unused accommodations, meals, sightseeing tours, transport, or other included services.

VI. LIABILITY AND INSURANCE

Lux Cruises Group is not liable for loss, injury, damage, or delays due to natural disasters, political actions, weather, or events beyond our control.
Guests are advised to obtain travel insurance covering personal accidents, medical expenses, emergency repatriation, and personal liability.

VII. CONFIRMATION

All bookings are confirmed via email or fax within two working days.
If immediate confirmation is unavailable, guests will be notified of the booking status at the time of reservation.

VIII. CHILDREN POLICIES

Age Group Policy

Child under 5 (1st child, shared bed) Free of charge
Child under 5 (2nd child) 40% of adult rate
Child 5-11 years 70% of adult rate (less 700,000 VND if sharing bed)
Child 12+ or adult 90% of adult rate
2 children under 12 sharing 1 cabin 90% of cabin rate

IX. PASSENGER INFORMATION

Passenger details (full name, date of birth, gender, nationality, passport number, visa expiry date, and contact number) must be submitted at least 72 hours prior to check-in.
Passports are required onboard, as the Port Authority may conduct inspections.
